About The NGO

HORSEED has been involved in development projects in Somalia since 2003. During this time, the NGO has successfully completed a broad range of consultancy assignments, covering a wide spectrum of sectors and specializations.

The NGO is registered as a limited liability NGO in Somalia and has a majority local shareholding. It is managed and staffed by locals and other nationals qualified in a wide range of disciplines.

Vision: HDO envisions a society where all Somali citizens have the opportunity to achieve their potential and a community that promotes their social, economic, cultural and moral development.

Mission: HDO endeavors to unleash the potential of disadvantaged women and children to succeed in life through providing education, WASH, health care, nutrition, livelihood skills, child protection and community development services.
